This nicely carved little duo offers vibrant color and elegant form. The carving on both is crisp and the paint is in very good condition, especially on the male. As the photos show, there is some paint loss on the head of the female, but overall coverage is very good. The carvings probably date to the first quarter 20th c., possibly earlier. The male pheasant is 9” L; the female 6-1/4” L x 5” H. Collected In Iowa.
