For collectors of Little Orphan Annie memorabilia or wind-up character toys, here’s a very nice find: a mechanical tinplate Sandy dog, unmarked, but attributed to MARX Linemar, c. 1950s. The dog’s tale serves as a level that sends it rolling across the floor. The toy is in very good working condition with moderate playwear, as the photos show. Fresh from a private collection.
