SOLD Folky Child’s Bent Wood Chair

Folky Child’s Bent Wood Chair
What I love about this child-size chair is the color combination (rusty-red with Prussian blue); the graceful bent wood construction (seat and back); and the flourish of round wooden finials (like drum sticks on steroids). The color and form suggest that this piece could be Scandinavian (anyone heard the Swedish groups Prussian Blue?) or maybe Eastern European. Whatever the origin, I love the whimsical, folky quality, hence the choice of galleries — not furniture, but folk art. Probably 1920s -30s.
