SOLD 19th C. Child’s Country Chair

19th C. Child’s Country Chair
Constructed with maple as the primary wood and slats of hickory or ash, this simple, yet graceful country arm chair has its original woven splint seat and — my favorite features — “acorn” finials and a gorgeous patina. 22-1/2″H X 14″W with a seat that’s 10-1/2″D. A Texas estate find. Probably Tennessee or Kentucky origin. 4th quarter 1800s.
