When it comes to folk art, I’m a sucker for color and form. And that’s the appeal of this miniature bottle cap arm chair. Despite its size –just 7” h X 7” w X 7-1/4” d — it still delivers a big visual punch, thanks to the “juicy” colors of the early crown cork bottle caps it’s made with. On three of the caps that serve as feet, the cork and paper layers are still intact. Early 20th c. Maker and origin unknown.
