Large Primitive Rag Doll
I came across this early rag doll at a California show and just liked the way she looked. She’s 28” tall and simply made of old muslin, with faded sepia inked features, no hair, stubby arms, and large side-pointing feet. Probably made in the early 20th century, she wears a skirt and blouse that were clearly made for her but may not be as early as she is. All she needs at this point in her life is a proper pair of bloomers and a cozy chair. Good condition with some staining and age wear as the photos show. Acquired by the former owner in Virginia.
