Impressive Tramp Art Frame & Mirror, c. 1900
What sets this early tramp art frame apart is its strong architectural impact. Acquired from a private collector, this large, handsome example is 32” tall and 18-1/2” wide. The mirror itself is 16” tall by 10” wide and is original to the piece. Round, well-carved medallions form a centerpiece on all four sides, while the frame is topped with an impressive fleur-de-lis crest. The result is an early decorative accessory that would be at home in almost any room and complement any décor. Turn of the 20th century. American.
