SOLD Folky Hand-made Noah’s Ark

Folky Hand-made Noah’s Ark
This delightful Noah’s Ark is constructed of painted pine from an old packing crate and comes with 21 painted wood animals, most of them readily identifiable, but a quirky few that require a bit of imagination. (Anteater? Aardvark?) The Ark has a lift-off roof and is designed with three bays for holding its four-legged passengers. On one of the boat’s painted “windows,” a previous owner or perhaps the maker has penciled the name “John Hall” (also penciled on one side of the roof.) The Ark measures 18″L X 10″H X 6″W across the middle. First quarter 20th c.
