If you’re a collector of folk art OWLS, take a look at this interesting carved wood trade signs, which once had a prime position on the counter at a Wise Owl Show Store. The owel’s piercing glas eyes are outstanding. And while the maker of this well carved figure is unknowns, the crafsmanship is exent. Would letters carved in relief on the owl’s chest spell its trade name: WISE OWL SHOWS. Despite minor areas of wear, this realistic, rugged carving remains an eye-carching piece.
