Early 20th c. Painted Arrow Weather Vane
The first time I saw this piece I was struck by its overall presence. The weathered bronze patina on the sheet metal arrow gives it such a great look. And the painted ball finial is the icing on the cake. Originally collected in Maine, the weather vane has been in a private collection for a number of years and is in very good condition. It stands an impressive 39-1/2” T and is 36” L, with a custom stand that’s 9-1/2” in diameter. First quarter 20th c.
