Contemporary Gee’s Bend Quilt by Queen Hall
Second generation Gee’s Bend quilter Queen Hall (b. 1938) is the maker of this 72″-square quilt, constructed of cottons and synthetics in a housetop variation. A companion quilt to this one pictured on page in Gee’s Bend Architecture of the Quilt (p. 140) is identified as Queen Hall’s and dated 2003.
