SOLD Century-Old Amish Doll

Century-Old Amish Doll

Originally collected in Pennsylvania, this 15-inch rag-stuffed cloth Amish doll was made around 1900. Her head is oil cloth and her torso appears to be homespun linen. Her legs are made from old stockings and her shoes are black velvet. When the doll’s original clothing wore out, it was created anew in the 1960s by the doll maker’s daughter and granddaughter.
