Antique Amish Cloth Dog
This early hand crafted Amish dog has a whimsical quality that I find irresistible. It’s made of what appears to be homespun linen over stockinet and is firmly stuffed with rags. I especially love the blanket-stitching around the ears and black boot button eyes. Even with the expected play ware and somewhat wobbly legs, it’s a very appealing one-of-a-kind toy. 9” L X 7” H.
