Early Tramp Art Table or Stand
What makes this 18-inch chip-carved stand so fabulous is the folky pain-decorated pedestal base. The top of the stand is made from a series of interconnected wooden chevrons framed by stacked chip carved layers three inches deep. The notched, carved base is 12” square, while the top is 10-1/2” square. Made from old cigar boxes and crate wood. Early 20th c.
