19th c. New England Stool with Great Paint
I love early painted stools, and the maker of this one certainly had a creative flair. Diagonal blue and white stripes on red bootjack legs give the piece a jaunty nautical look. But “look” is only part of the appeal. Consider the construction. As the photos show, this sturdy 19th century stool was built to last! It’s 10” H X 13” L X 7” W – a small piece with big impact.
