Antique Terra-Cotta Downspouts, New York State
A fine example of architectural sculpture, these ornamental terra-cotta downspouts, offered as a pair, are glazed and painted and feature molded women’s faces in the Art Nouveau style. I love that what once served a utilitarian purpose is now an object of art. Both downspouts are in very good condition, with only minor scuffing to the faces and no cracks or repair. They come with custom stands. 9″ t. x 5″ w. x 6-1/2″ d. Collected in upstate New York. C. 1900-1920.
