19th c. Folk Art Cane with Entwined Snakes

Dating from the third- to fourth-quarter of the 19thc, this folk art cane features a knob handle and two entwined snakes that decorate almost the full length of the knobby staff. This cane is 34-3/4” tall and made of stained hardwood with a pinstripe-like grain (possibly hickory?). American. Excellent condition.
