1940s-50s Size 10 Ladies Boots
This is a pair of vintage boots that makes me wish I had bigger feet. I LOVE these boots! They were made by ACME in the 1940s or early ‘50s and still have their original heels, original soles and original stitching — all in very good condition. But the pattern and style are the purple icing on the cake. They’re the shorter style that ends above the ankles and looks so great with knee-length skirts or jeans. The pattern is mariposas — in English, butterflies — and it’s rendered in a creamy yellow and red on black and outlined with yellow and read stitching. Whether you collect boots to wear or showcase (or both), this is definitely a Cinderella pair. Very good original condition. (I’ve buffed them with a soft cloth but haven’t polished or refurbished them in any way.)
